How to read your book

Your purchase includes two files: a PDF (works everywhere) and an EPUB (adjusts to your screen size). Pick whichever works best for you.

iPhone

EPUB (recommended):

  1. Open the download link from your email
  2. Tap the EPUB file. It opens in Apple Books automatically.
  3. That's it. Your book is in your library.

PDF:

  1. Tap the PDF link from your email
  2. Tap the Share button (square with arrow), then "Save to Files" or "Copy to Books"

Apple Books is free and already on your phone. EPUB looks best because the text adjusts to your screen.

iPad

EPUB (recommended):

  1. Tap the EPUB download link in your email
  2. It opens right in Apple Books. Done.

PDF:

  1. Tap the PDF link. It opens in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button, then "Copy to Books" or "Save to Files"

Both formats look great on iPad. EPUB adjusts the text to fit your screen; PDF keeps the original page layout.

Android phone or tablet

EPUB (recommended):

  1. Download Google Play Books from the Play Store (free)
  2. Open the EPUB file from your email and choose "Play Books" when asked
  3. It's now in your library, ready to read

PDF:

  1. Tap the PDF link. Most Android phones open it automatically.
  2. Or upload it to Google Play Books: open the app, tap your profile, then "Ebook uploads"

Google Play Books handles both EPUB and PDF, and syncs across all your devices.

Kindle e-reader

PDF:

  1. Email the PDF to your Kindle's Send-to-Kindle email address
  2. Find it in Settings > My Account > Send-to-Kindle Email on your Kindle
  3. The book will appear in your Kindle library within a few minutes

EPUB:

  1. Newer Kindles (2022+) support EPUB. Just email the file to your Send-to-Kindle address.
  2. Older Kindles: use the free Send to Kindle tool on your computer to convert and transfer

Don't know your Kindle email? Go to amazon.com > Manage Your Content and Devices > Preferences > Personal Document Settings.

Computer (Mac or PC)

PDF:

  1. Click the download link in your email
  2. The PDF opens in your browser or default PDF reader. That's it.

EPUB:

  1. Mac: Double-click the file. It opens in Apple Books.
  2. PC: Open the file in Microsoft Edge, or download the free Calibre app
